Let Him Help You

Let Him Help You!
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever (John 14:16).
Imagine what mental and physical exertion could result if you were to pray about the numerous demands and challenges in your day to day life: the challenges at work or school, your health and that of your loved ones, economic problems in the world, the leaders, unbelievers, the hurting, and so on. Such an endless list of things to pray about could be so overwhelming, leading to worry and anxiety if you’re not guided by the Spirit on how and what to pray about.
Some people inspite of their sincere efforts to pray and effect changes have become frustrated, feeling guilty about a tragic event that occurred somewhere, which they didn’t remember to pray to avert. God doesn’t want you frustrated or confused as to how to pray or what to pray about. He gave us the Holy Spirit, to help us and bear us up in our weakness.
At that point when you’re clueless as to how and what to pray about, He steps in and takes charge of your vocal faculties: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).
The Holy Spirit will help you pray when you don’t know what to say or how to say it; He’ll give you the right and accurate words with which to express your heart to the Father. One anointed word uttered through you by the Spirit can effect a lot of changes. Rather than exert yourself trying to pray “from your head” about your job, your boss, employees, the financial situation, etc, cast all your cares on the Lord! Trust the Holy Spirit to help you aright. It’s His ministry to help you pray in accordance with God’s perfect will.
This is why in your prayer times, it’s important to be filled with the Spirit, because God’s Spirit is God’s answer. Ephesians 5:18-19 says “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”
God planned to give us a life of absolute mastery and dominion over all things. His desire is to perfect all that concerns you: your health, your business, your finances, your family, your job, your marriage et al! Your role is to trust Him and let Him help you.
Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
thank you for your Spirit that guides me and teaches me how to pray aright, in the direction of your perfect will for my life. Thank you for the assurance that when I pray in the Holy Ghost, I’m heard of you, knowing that I’m praying in accordance with your eternal will, purpose and destiny for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
