Faith Makes Healing A Reality

Faith Makes Healing A Reality
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them
(Mark 11:24).
There’re Christians who say they’ve been hoping, fasting and praying to get healed for years. It’s common to hear such people console themselves with the words “I know that God will heal me someday.” One major problem such people have is their inability to distinguish faith from hope. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” In other words, faith calls done and real what you’ve hoped for. It’s like the title deed to a property. You don’t have to be in the property to know it’s yours; the title deed with you is as good as the property in your hands. So faith is a title deed.
But hope on the other hand is to look at something coming in the future; hope is to put your expectation into the future. Faith declares that it is real and lives in the reality of it now. Thus to receive healing for your body, what you need is to lay claim to it NOW! You have to declare that the healing has become real. Calling it real establishes it in your life. But to keep hoping that God will set you free one day is not faith; even though you believe it, it’s not going to work because hope will keep pushing your healing into the future.
So what you’re supposed to do is take your healing now! Don’t wait anymore! If you want your situation to change, it’s got to be by faith and not hope. Hoping and believing that it will happen will not change your situation; it’s faith that makes your healing a reality. Healing and health are your God-ordained rights through faith in the Name of Jesus.
