How do you inherit heaven? .. Those will be the heirs who will inherit Paradise

How do you inherit heaven?

Those will be the heirs who will inherit Paradise

Magdy Tadros

How do you inherit heaven?Who wrote the Quran said that the paradise owner standed to receive his bondmen believers saying to them in Surah Al Momenoon 23:10-11

Those will be the heirs  who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (forever).

and that will make those believers rejoice saying in Surah Al Qasas 28:58

We have been the inheritors.

and then refers to Paradise saying in  in Surah Maryam 19:63

Such is the Garden which We give as an inheritance to those of Our Servants who guard against evil.

so Ibrahim shouted praying to Allah saying in Surah Al Shuara 26:85

Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss

But according to the inheritance law, for Allah to become an inheritance owner and giver and for paradise to become an inheritance, the owner must be declared dead so the inheritors who are in legal relationship can inherit and hence we can say to those “those are the heirs”

As the bible says in Hebrews 9:16-17

For where a will is, there must also of necessity be the death of the maker.

For a will is in force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all

while the maker lives.

How do you inherit heaven? So according to inheritance by definition How will the believers inherent paradise?

a- The heir legally must be son (daughter), an offspring of the owner

b- For the transaction to happen and the ownership of the heritage to be transferred to the heirs, the owner must first die

Children of the paradise owner

The Quran concurs that the people of the book considered themselves children of God, we find that in Surah Al-Maeda 5:18

(Both) the Jews and the Christians say: “We are sons of Allah, and His beloved.” Say: “Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay ye are but men,― of the men He hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all).“

He collided with them on this issue as he did not see in them the the marks of the Son as holder of the divine nature meaning being in the image of the merciful God as essential requirement to qualify as heir. As being a son or daughter will fulfil the main condition to become an inheritor. But what appeared in this Ayah, is that who wrote the Quran have a very narrow understanding of being children of God, for him all what he could think about is become a child through a natural mate process, he did not recognise the right spiritual depth that parenthood can have more than just the natural breeding process and the following are non inclusive examples:

A- Holder of the same nature

We find that the son of a man is also a man, the daughter of a cat is a cat and so on. and you through this relation you became a holder of the divine nature and the marks flows in your body on his image and example and he can change you into the same image

B- being in continuous fellowship and loyalty

As in some languages and cultures if you say this man is a loyal Son of his country means he is very patriotic and loyal to his fellow countrymen

Also the arabic expression “ابن السبيل” meaning “wayfarer” was mentioned 8 times in the Quran (for example Surah Al-Baqara 2:215) if we want to literally translate it it will be “Son of the way” since he is a wayfarer

But how can I become a son / daughter for the paradise owner?

Who wrote the Quran said in Surah Al Tin 95:4

Verily, We created man in the best stature

The only creation that God did, you are alone on the image of the merciful God, you are his unique creation, you are the supreme of all his creation, as you are an icon for God on earth. You are created to have victorious life over sin and evil.

How do you inherit heaven? The Hadith concur that Man is on the image of God as following:

Al-Bukhaari (6227) and Muslim (2841) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah created Adam in His image, and he was sixty cubits tall. When he created him he said, ‘Go and greet that group of angels who are sitting and listen to how they greet you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your descendents.’ So he said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alaykum (peace be upon you),’ and they said, ‘Al-salaamu ‘alayka wa rahmat-Allaah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allaah.’ So they added (the words) ‘wa rahmat-Allaah.’ Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, but mankind continued to grow shorter until now.”

Muslim (2612) narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When any one of fights his brother, let him avoid the face, for Allaah created Adam in His image.”

Ibn Abi ‘Aasim narrated in al-Sunnah (517) that Ibn ‘Umar said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not say ‘May Allaah deform your face’ [a form of cursing in Arabic], for the son of Adam was created in the image of the Most Merciful.” Shaykh ‘Abd-Allaah ibn al-Ghunaymaan (may Allaah preserve him) said: “This hadeeth is saheeh and was classed as such by the imams and by Imam Ahmad and Ishaaq ibn Raahawayh. Those who classed it as da’eef have no evidence, except for the view of Ibn Khuzaymah, but those who classed it as saheeh are more knowledgeable than him.

Ibn Abi ‘Aasim also narrated (516) that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When any one of you fights let him avoid the face, for Allaah created Adam in the image of His Face.” Shaykh al-Albaani said: its isnaad is saheeh.

These two hadeeth indicate that the pronoun in the phrase “in His image” refers to Allaah, may He be glorified.

That is why you are not created to be slave, you are created to be adopted son to reflect the majesty, righteousness and glory of our God the father and that is why you are on his image

The holy book in Genesis 1:26-28 says

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,a and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27So God created mankind in his own image,

in the image of God he created them;

male and female he created them.

28God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

And this what the Quran author borrowed in Surah Al Baqara 2:30 saying

when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to create a deputy 16 on the earth!

You are the visible family of God on earth

Because you are created on the image of the merciful God to become a member of the wonderful human family that carries on the spiritual image of the Lord to rejoice with this relationship with God and his presence in your life through the most noble relationship and that is a parent to his / her sibling, a father to his Son / daughter. That is why in the holy book said by God himself in Proverbs 8:31

and my delights were with the sons of men

and whoever claimed that God said in Surah Al Zarriat 51:56

I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me.

is wrong and lying about God, because the one true God does not need any creation to become God, because this Ayah is implicitly claiming that the divinity of God was void until God created bondmen to become actual and factual!

How do you inherit heaven?

But how come that God is father?

Father in Syriac language means  ” أب ” (Ab) and it means the source the beginner of everything, also in arabic it is also the same word ” أب ” (Ab or Abba as in Romans 8), we have also a derivative word in arabic “ أواب” (Awab) and that means “he is a returner to the source” and hence “He is a returner to the father”, and also the Quran used Awab to describe the same thing “ever turning to God”, we find that in the following Ayahs (check in arabic you will find the word  “ أواب”  is used)

Surah Sad 38:17-19

Bear patiently with what they say, and remember Our servant Dawud, the man of might. Surely he was ever-turning to Allah. (17) We had subjugated the mountains to join him (in) making tasbih (i.e. pronouncing Allah’s purity) at evening and sunrise, (18) And the birds as well, mustered together. All were turning to Allah with him.

Surah Al Esra 17:25

Your Lord knows best what is in your hearts. If you are righteous, then He is Most-Forgiving for those whoturn to Himin repentance.

Surah Sad 38:30

And We blessed Dawud with Sulaiman. He was an excellent servant (of Allah). Surely, he was great in turning

also check the same in Surah Sad 38:44 and Qaf 50:32

Allah the inheritor or the restorer?

A muslim could come and object saying inheritor does not necessarily means typical inheritance process because Allah himself in kingdom of the world returning to him is an inheritor as the Quran says in Surah 15:23

And verily, it is We Who give life, and who give death: it is We Who remain Inheritors

To answer that if a thief did stole a bag of valuables from you but while running away he did an accident and the police returned the goods to you, when they do that will they tell you that “You are the heir of the dead thief”??? Off course not you are not inheritor but you are the owner, inheritance concept can never be used in this situation

How do you inherit heaven?

Can I inherit Paradise by my good deeds?

Any Muslim we meets always says we will inherit paradise simply by our good deeds as mentioned in the following Ayahs

Surah Al Nesa 4:124  If any do deeds of righteousness,― be they male or female― and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them

Surah Al-Fath 48:17 but he that obeys Allah and His Messenger― (Allah) will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow

But that then will raise a bunch of unanswered questions as following:

1- Then why did the Quran used the inheritance concept in more than one Ayah?

2- Why did not use words or expressions like Gift, act of mercy or favor instead of inheritance?

3- Why was the believers called hiers?

4- If there is a kingdom having a government, can the best prime minister simply be awarded to become a king?

5- How come that Allah defies his own rules of inheritance?

But how will the paradise owner die so I become an heir?

can divinity die?

Christian theology and the holy book concurs that divinity can not die otherwise God is unworthy of our worship!

But the problem is that we can indirectly based on the Quran conclude the Allah or islamic divinity has a death vulnerability!

We will prove that using with 3 premises

Premise 1: Allah has a soul

(can we prove that based on Quran? Answer is yes)

We find that in Surah 5:116 (Al Maydah)

but for this surah we have to present 4 English translations

And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: Be glorified! It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I had ever said it, then Thou wouldst have known it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy Mind. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Knower of Things Hidden?

(according to Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall translation)

So Allah has a mind and everyone knows that the mind is part of the soul

And when Allah said, “O ‘Isa, son of Maryam, did you say to the people: ‘Take me and my mother as gods beside Allah?” He said, “Pure are You, it does not behoove me to say what is not right for me. Had I said it, You would have known it. You know what is in my heart, and I do not know what is in Your’s. You alone have full knowledge of all that is unseen.

(according to Justice Maulana Muhammad Taqi Usmani translation)

so Allah has a heart and this is also means soul

How do you inherit heaven?

And (remember) when Allâh will say (on the Day of Resurrection): “O ‘Īsā (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: ‘Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allâh?’ ” He will say: “Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours, truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen).

(Dr Mohsen Translation)

The most accurate translation is Usama Dakdouk

And when Allah said “O’ Isa, son of Mary, did you say to the people ‘Take me and my mother as two Gods, other than Allah?” He said, “Praise be to you. It is not for me that I say what is not true for me; if I had said it, so indeed you know what is in my soul, and I do not know what is in your soul.

Premise 2: Every soul should die

Surah Al-E-Imran 3:185

Every soul will taste of death

Surah Al-Anbia 21:35

Every soul must taste of death

Surah Al-Ankaboot 29:57

Every soul will taste of death.

Premise 3: Allah has a soul then allah will Die!

The only solution to inherent is that the paradise owner has to manifest as Man

For paradise owner to die, first he has to incarnate and come to the world as a man, and as we came into existance of time and space through birth, he has to do the same, showing commitment to the natural law he laid down himself. The bible says in Hebrews 10:5

Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me

also in 1 Timothy 3:16

And without doubt great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Here we notice that it is says “God manifested” not “God reduced to” or “God converted to”

This man will hold the divine nature of God as the Quran said in Surah Al Nisa 4:171

O people of the Book, be not excessive in your Faith, and do not say about Allah anything but the truth, the Masih ‘Isa, the son of Maryam, is only a Messenger of Allah, and His Word that He had delivered to Maryam, and a spirit from Him.

We notice here the intro of this ayah is that who wrote will talk about Allah why on the second half shifted focus to talk about Jesus Christ?

Also we notice in that Ayah the word of God delivered to Mary and when we deliver words those words describes and presents our existence and character, then this makes Jesus Christ:

1- Jesus is the visible expression of the invisible God, he is brightness of his glory, and the express image of God personality, and upholding all things by the word of his power, as he is the mighty word of God that can creates and that is why Jesus is the only man in history who created living beings as in Surah 3:49

How do you inherit heaven?

I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay as it were the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s leave; and I heal those born blind, and the lepers and I quicken the dead by Allah’s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe.

2- Jesus is eternal because he is the eternal Word of God, his existence was before him entering the world through birth from a virgin woman, and since only God exists out of time and space then Jesus Christ is one with God, and following is the original source borrowed by who wrote Surah 4:171:

John 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And John the baptist testified regarding Jesus saying in John 3:31:

He that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he that comes from heaven is above all.

3- When the word is delivered it does not separate from who own it, Surah Al Omran 3:45 – 49 concurs that the word of God is a person and has a name “Jesus Christ”

Behold! the angels said “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah. …And (appoint him) an Messenger to the Children of Israel, I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay as it were the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s leave; and I heal those born blind, and the lepers and I quicken the dead by Allah’s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe.” (Translation by Youssef Ali)

4- The Quran concurs that the Word of God was master before being born into time and space, he was master and then humbled himself to be a slave when he came to the world though birth as a man in the Person of Jesus Christ, we find that very clear in Surah Al Nesa 4:172 that says:

The Messiah will never be proud to reject to be a slave of Allâh

And here we ask if Jesus was merly a slave messenger like any other prophet, why “will never be proud to reject “?

Simply just say “The Messiah born as a slave to Allah” but we beleive Surah 4:172 was borrowed from Philippians 2:6-9

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name

According to Quran, Jesus Born from a virgin or created from dust?

Now our dear muslim reader, about how did Jesus came into our world we have 2 different versions based on 2 Ayahs

Version 1:

Surah Al Imran 3:59

Verily the likeness of lsa with Allah is as the likeness of Adam: him He created out of dust, thereafter He said unto him: Be, and lo! he becometh.

(Abdul Daraybadi or any other)

How do you inherit heaven?Version 2:

Surah Maryam 19:15-21

“And mention in the Book (the story of) Maryam, when she secluded herself from her people to a place towards East, (16)Then she used a barrier to hide herself from them. Then, We sent to her Our Spirit, (Jibra’il) and he took before her the form of a perfect human being. (17) She said, “I seek refuge with the All-Merciful (Allah) against you, if you are God-fearing.” 4 (18) He said, “I am but a message-bearer of your Lord (sent) to give you a boy, purified.” (19) She said, “How shall I have a boy while no human has ever touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?” (20) He said, “So it is; your Lord said, ‘It is easy for Me, and (We will do this) so that We make it a sign for people (miracle) and a mercy from Us, and this is a matter already destined.’” (21) So she conceived him, and went in seclusion with him to a remote place”

(Taqi Usmani translation)

So which version is correct, was Jesus created from dust as in Surah 3:59 or born of a virgin as in Surah 19:15-21?

Greatest Name for Allah “Al Hay Al Qayoum”

The greatest name for Allah in Islam is “الحي القيوم“

As early Muslims scholar like Al Qassem says this is the greatest name for Allah as it is mentioned in 3 Surahs

In Surah Al-le-Omran 3:2

Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but he, AL Hayy Al Qayoum

And  in Surah Taha 20:111

And all faces shall be humbled before Allah AL Hayy Al Qayoum

Also we find that name for Allah is used in the Quran in Surah Al Baqara 2:255

Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. (Actually more accurate translation from Arabic is “The Ever Living One The Self-Existing One”) Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him.

Ibn Kathir says that this Ayah in Surah 2:255, is called “Ayah Al Korsy” (The throne of God Ayah), I swear that it has a tongue of its own and lips to Glorify the king of Kings at his throne

It is considered for a lot the greatest Ayah in the whole Quran

Now the Quran did not came up with that name as a new revelation, but the source is the Old Testament, this name has been borrowed as is from the book of Daniel 6:26

“I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end.”

In Arabic translation it is

من قبلي صدر امر بانه في كل سلطان مملكتي يرتعدون ويخافون قدام اله دانيال لانه هو الاله الحي القيومالى الابد وملكوته لن يزول وسلطانه الى المنتهى

so this the origin of that name “Al Hayy Al Qayoum” is pronounced in hebrew “Al Hayya Al Qayam” “חַיָּ֗א וְקַיָּם֙”

meaning the ever living ever enduring

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/chaiya_2417.htm

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/vekaiyam_7011.htm

“Qayoum” also mean the resurrected one

Middle east Christians calls Easter “Al Qiyamah” Feast

Jesus said in the New Testament that he is Al Hay Al Qayoum, we find that when Jesus resurrected Lazarus  from death after 4 days, Jesus Christ said

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

John 11:25-26

One Last Word today

My friend, for you to inherit and become an heir my plea with you is to accept that Great work that God himself did, the word of God Jesus Christ came humbled himself and came as a slave into the world and died on the cross so this work becomes your legal document if you accept you will become an adopted child for God. All what you need is to believe and accept that.

How do you become an adopted child in the family of God? The answer of course is only in the bible John 1:12-14

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name: Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Romans 8:16-17

“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God And if children, then heirs; heirs of God”

How do you inherit heaven?

Dear Friend

if you want to accept and convert from the life of bondage to the life of sonship and adoption, please raise your hand and pray to God saying:

Lord, I accept you now as my father .. father I give you now my heart and love .. I accept the cross as your tool for salvation and source for my pride as heritage certificate that makes me heir for everything you wants to give in Jesus Christ name I pray

We welcome all your feedback
