The Supernatural YOU

The Supernatural YOU
For in him (Christ Jesus) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:9-10).
Our opening verse aptly qualifies the Person of Jesus; He is “loaded” with God; the fullness or totality of Deity fully tabernacles in Him! No wonder He said of Himself in John 5:26 (AMP), “For even as the Father has life in Himself and is self-existent, so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself and be self-existent.” When you study the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus, you’d find it was an unending stream of the miraculous. He fed five thousand people with a little boy’s lunch, raised the dead, walked on water, and performed many miracles besides. According to the Scriptures, if all the miracles He performed were to be recorded, the whole world wouldn’t contain the books that would be written (John 21:25).
This supernatural life wasn’t exclusive to Jesus; He has given us the same quality of life. One of the reasons He sent us the Holy Spirit is to continue the work of the Father through us. In John 20:21 He said, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you….” This means your life ought to be an unending stream of His glory. You ought to expect and participate in the supernatural since the Holy Spirit lives in you. He’s the power of the Godhead and imbues us with the miracle-working power of God.
2 Peter 1:4 describes us as partakers of the divine nature. That means we’re associates or comrades of the “God-kind.” God has brought us into union with Himself, and into His class of being. Therefore, not only do you qualify to experience the miraculous, you’re also a participant in the divine experience. You’re a miracle distributor, because the miracle-worker Himself lives in you!
The Bible says as Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
Prayer
My life is an unending stream of the miraculous because the Holy Spirit lives in me! He has made me indomitable and brought excellence into my life. Thank you blessed Father for the awesome privilege and blessing of having the Holy Spirit live in me,
in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.
