The Benefits Of Salvation

The Benefits Of Salvation

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us

(Romans 5:6-8).

Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus….” Why is there no condemnation for you? It’s because Jesus suffered in your place. He was made sin for you, who knew no sin, that you might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus shed His blood for you; He was the only sinless one, qualified to save us by His blood. By your faith in His resurrection, and confession of His Lordship, you received eternal life and now are justified. Walk in this newness of life and enjoy the benefits of salvation. Since He’s already done it, all you need do now is enjoy the benefits of your salvation. This is the grace of God at work.

Grace encompasses everything God did for us through Christ even though we didn’t deserve it. The Bible shows us that in spite of all our sins God still loved us and reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. In Him, God has given us salvation, prosperity, health and healing, spiritual wholeness and favour.

When Jesus hung on the cross, God saw you hanging on that cross; you died in Him and rose up triumphantly from the grave with Him. Colossians 2:13 says, “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.” You have legal rights to possess everything salvation in Christ brings, for they were all paid for with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Stand tall and look up with squared shoulders, you don’t need to come to God begging, stand before Him with boldness, and confidence for the Lord Jesus paid the ultimate price for you to live the glorious life. Go ahead and enjoy the benefits of your salvation!

Prayer

Dear Father,

I thank you for the glorious life I have in Christ; a life of victory and extraordinary grace. I’m walking in power, divine health, glory, and excellence. I have a sound mind in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
