Take Your Place

Take Your Place

“For all creation, gazing eagerly as if with outstretched neck, is waiting and longing to see the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19 WNT).

When God created the world, everything He made was good, and He gave man dominion over all things. However, when sin entered the world through Adam’s transgression, death also came in and from that point on, everything in the world became subject to denigration, decay and death.

That’s why today, everything that exists in the world, living and nonliving, is crying out for liberation. Men are groaning under the weight of sickness, disease, and poverty. Even money is crying out to be delivered from those who use it for evil. We’re the only hope for the world. That’s why the whole of creation is waiting, gazing earnestly with outstretched necks, for the manifestation of the “sons of God.”

Sons of God here refer to those who have come of age spiritually. These are the ones who have come to understand their rights and authority in Christ, and as a result are able to tame this world. They know how to dominate sickness, disease, poverty and the forces of nature! They’re the ones who command prosperity for the sake of the Kingdom, and rescue men and women from darkness. They’re the matured sons of God.

Take your Christian growth very seriously. It’s only in the position of maturity in Christ that you can take your place as the matured son of God and bring deliverance, healing, salvation and joy to a hurting world. Be spiritually minded and grow up to maturity because the world is waiting for you! The greater responsibilities of the Kingdom are for the matured sons and daughters of God. So rise up and subdue the systems of the world.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for the Word of your grace, which is able to build me up unto maturity and responsibility in Christ. I take my place today, as a saviour from Zion and a world-changer, and bring deliverance, healing and salvation to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
