Don’t Yield To Fear
and I will not fear what man shall do unto me ( Hebrews 13:5-6 ).
Don’t Yield To Fear
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6).
Jesus let us know that as long as we’re in the world, we would face persecutions. But then He was quick to assuage our fears and assure us of victory:“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world(John 16:33). So it doesn’t matter the persecutions you might be facing right now; be of good cheer; you’ve already overcome the world and its systems and all the manipulations of the adversary: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”(1 John 4:4).
You’re not a victim in this world; you’re not at the mercy of satan or the evil forces that pervade this world. So refuse to fear what satan or his cohorts can do, for they have all been defeated. Satan’s most effective tool today is to instill fear in people’s minds, which is the reason you must at all times, refuse to fear. Fear is a tormenting and domineering spirit; its intent is to take over the life of the one who accommodates it. The moment anyone yields to fear, it creates the needed environment for the enemy to plunder such a person’s life and wreak havoc.
No matter what happens around you, don’t succumb to fear, irrespective of what or who satan uses to threaten you. Whenever you hear a negative or evil report, don’t yield to fear, as that’s exactly what the enemy wants you to do! Instead, say, “I refuse to fear, For God hath not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Never yield to fear. Always declare that the Lord is your helper and you will not fear what man or satan can do unto you (Hebrews 13:5-6). The Bible says “The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead” (Proverbs 11:8). So it doesn’t matter how satan tries to foment trouble around you, refuse fear.
Confession
I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. I’m more than a conqueror. I have dominion over every situation! I live the triumphant life in Christ every day, because the greater One dwells in me. I recognize and put to work my authority in Christ. Hallelujah!
