Bring Forth Good Things From Your Spirit

Bring Forth Good

ThingsFrom Your Spirit

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

In Matthew 12:35, Jesus said, “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things”; this parallels what we read in our opening verse above. The things that happen in your life come from your spirit and not from around you. Hence it’s important you learn to live from your spirit and bring forth good things out of the good treasures of your heart.

Man is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. When you’re born again, it’s your spirit that’s recreated; it’s your spirit that receives the life and nature of God. So, you’re primarily a spirit being, with a body given to you by God to live in. Your body is not you; it’s your house; the place of domicile for your spirit, which is the real you.

So, the life you live as a Christian isn’t dependent on external factors such as the social and economic circumstances of the world around you. But rather, the conditions of your life are dictated by the state of your spirit. This is why it’s important that you inundate your spirit with the Word; have a voracious appetite for the Word.

Your health, prosperity and all the good things of life you could ever desire are embedded in the Word of God. So with the Word in your Spirit, all you have to do is bring forth the good things of life that you desire from within you through your faith-filled confession. The Bible says in Matthew 12:24 “out the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”In other words when you fill your heart with God’s Word your mouth will of a necessity speak it forth. This is how you saturate your life with the blessings of God.

Therefore to have your needs met, don’t look up to man, or to heaven; look inwards! Inside you are all that you require for life and for godliness (2 Peter 1:13). If it’s prosperity you need, bring it forth from your spirit. The same applies for your health, and other aspects of your life; whatever you need is inside you. The Bible says for God has set eternity in the hearts of men (Ecclesiastes 3:11). If your heart can contain eternity then every good thing you could ever need is inside you.
