You’re The Hope Of The World

You’re The Hope Of

The World

“And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’s”

(Obadiah 1:21).

The Lord wants to reach every soul on the earth; He seeks to bring the unsaved to the knowledge of Christ’s redemptive work and establish in their hearts the reign of His kingdom. And you’re vital to this divine plan! You are His outstretched arm to your world today. Hallelujah!

The opening Scripture says, “…saviours shall come up on mount Zion…” This verse certainly can’t be referring to Jesus only; rather, it’s talking about Jesus and the Church of which you’re a member (1 Corinthians 12:27). The Bible states that you’re a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17), a partaker of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4), thus we share His love and passion to reach out to the lost and win them into the Kingdom.

Jesus did His part in obtaining salvation for mankind through His death and glorious resurrection; and now it’s your responsibility to tell others about His saving power. Thus, you should vitally be involved in the all-important business of soul-winning together with the Lord (1 Corinthians 3:9). Now, not only has He mandated you to preach the gospel, He’s also given you the power of attorney to use His Name (Mark 16:17). In John 20:21, He said, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). That means He has imbued you with everything you require for the mission.

Recognize that you are the hope of the world. And when you commit yourself to winning lost souls to Christ and reaching out to the distressed with the love of God, you’ll be bringing much glory to Him and causing great joy in heaven.
