Women in Islam part 3,

Woman in Islam is equal to a goat

Part 2 in series of articles about women in Islam, we proved that women status is worse that toilets, if you missed to read that following is the link

http://www.islamicbag.com/quran-hadith/woman/item/2418-womenstatusistoilet-en

In this article we will show you islamic resources that talked about women as being a goat

Ewe or Wife?

Quran is talking about 2 brothers came to king David in a conflict about ewes (or nanny goats), we find that in

Surah 38:23

Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech (Sahih international)

But are they really talking about goats or women?? Notice that the ewe was referred to by using “her” as the ayah says “Entrust her to me” meanwhile if it is just an animal it should have said “Entrust it to me”

Some one could say the “Sahih international” english translation had a mistake but what about Abdul Rahman Youssef Ali??

his man is my brother; He has nine and ninety ewes, and I have (but) one: Yet he says `Commit her to my care' and is (moreover) harsh to me in speech. (Yusuf Ali)

Same thing did not use “it” but instead used “her”

But how did the scholars interpret 38:23? All major TAFSIR concurred that ewes in that ayah refers to wives!

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs

The arabians calls women “goats”!

That literally had been said in major Tafasir, the arab refer to women as goats

Tafsir Al Baghawy for Q38:23

So one of them said, “this is my brother” meaning following my same way and religion, “has 99 ewes” meaning women “and I have one” meaning one woman or one wife and the arabs use “goat” as a metaphor to refer to a women

Arabic reference:

 TafsirAlBaghawy

Women are ridden like the cow and camel

We find that in Tafsir Al Qurtubi

Tafsir Al Qurtubi for Q38:23

The Arab symbolizes women using goat or sheep because of them being weak and meek and can also be symbolized as cow or camel because all of those are ridden by men

Congratulations to Muslima women on her being honored by islam, as you see according to scholars since men rides you as they ride animals like camels you are considered herds of cattles

Also as we saw from a qur'anic point of view you are equal to a goat

Absurd cases of Abrogation, the ayah that was abrogated inside a goat's belly

Quran Self-Combustion Part 3,

Absurd cases of Abrogation, the ayah that was abrogated inside a goat's belly

In part 2 we saw examples of peaceful ayahs abrogated by violence ayahs specifically about “Compulsion in religion” and following is the link

http://www.islamicbag.com/quran-hadith/qur-anic-studies/item/2028-nocompulsionagrogated-en

According to Islamic scholars, abrogation in quran are categorized into 3 types, I will use very simple terms to explain as following

The three types of Abrogation

First: What have been abrogated both lawwise and textwise

Meaning the Ayah was completely abrogated so the law or doctrine came in it is canceled and so is the recite meaning the text of the ayah, so the current Quran will not have this ayah anymore

Second: The text is gone but the law stays

So the doctrine, sharia law or rule exists but the recite or text is gone, not in Quran today

Third: The text exists but the doctrine is not HALAL anymore

So the ayah are in the Quran today but it is abrogated by another ayah in the Quran. So the law or doctrine of this abrogated is not applicable anymore as the abrogating ayah has now an overruling law that canceled the first.

Now in the three types Muslims will claim that a Quran Ayah can only be abrogated by another Quran ayah, so supposedly hadith can not abrogate quran, but is that the case always???? We will talk about that in later continuation for this series of articles

In this article we will give example of the first type and near future we will give examples for second and third.

Example of First : Ayah of breastfeeding of the grownups

Not to be confused by infants breastfeeding, it is a special law given to allow women to be alone with men that the grownup female needs to breastfeed the grown male so it is then HALAL to stay alone together

And I am not concerned about the absurdity of the law but my interest is the abrogation case behind it, so what is abrogation case behind it?

We will provide the references for that now

The Ayah that was abrogated in the goat’s belly

Sunan Ibn Majah » The Chapters on Marriage - كتاب النكاح » Hadith 1944

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.

Grade: Hasan (Darussalam)

http://sunnah.com/urn/1320210

ٍSo the ayah existed in the Quran until Muhammad died but a goat ate it, but I thought abrogation must be inspired to Muhammad, so who abrogated that after Muhammad death????

The adults breastfeeding Ayah was abrogated after Muhammad death!

Sunan Abi Dawud » Book of Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah) » Hadith # 2062

Chapter: Does Breastfeeding Less Than Five Times Establish Fosterage?

A’ishah said “In what was sent down in the Qu’ran ten suckling’s made marriage unlawful, but they were abrogated by five known ones and when the Prophet (ﷺ) dies, these words were among what was recited in the Qur’an.”

Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani)

http://sunnah.com/abudawud/12/17

And before someone say Oh Abi Dawud is not good enough, hay Sheikh Al Albani said that this hadith is Sahih, who are you to defy Sheikh Al Albany???? And the hadith are in several hadith books and it is also in Sahih Muslim any more excuses?????

Here is the same typical hadith in Sahih Muslim

http://sunnah.com/muslim/17/30

Now based on that we ask the Muslim those questions

1- How come that the Muslims say the Quran is preserved?

2- If only Quran can abrogate Quran, then what Ayah abrogated adults breastfeedings??

3- Muhammad died while this ayah was still in the Quran, to whom then the inspiration came to abrogate that ayah? Can an ayah be abrogated after Muhammad death?

4- Did this inspiration to abrogate came to the goat for example???
