Today we will investigate another aspect of Jesus divinity from the Quran

The Greatest Name according to Islam

The greatest name for Allah out the 99 in Islam is

“الحي القيوم“

Al Hay Al Qayoum

As early Muslims scholar like Al Qassem says this is the greatest name for Allah as it is mentioned in 3 Surahs

In Surah Al-le-Omran 3:2

Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but he, AL Hayy Al Qayoum

And  in Surah Taha 20:111

And all faces shall be humbled before Allah AL Hayy Al Qayoum

Also we find that name for Allah is used in the Quran in Surah Al Baqara 2:255

" اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُو َالحي القيوم لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ

Allah! There is no God save Him, AL Hayy Al Qayoum

Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him.

Ibn Kathir says that this Ayah in Surah 2:255, is called “Ayah Al Korsy” (The throne of God Ayah), I swear that it has a tongue of its own and lips to Glorify the king of Kings at his throne

It is considered for a lot the greatest Ayah in the whole Quran

This name is taken from OT as it was given to the Messiah

Now the Quran did not came up with that name as a new revelation, but the source is the Old Testament, this name has been borrowed as is from the book of Daniel 6:26

Daniel 6:26

“I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end.”

In Arabic translation it is

من قبلي صدر امر بانه في كل سلطان مملكتي يرتعدون ويخافون قدام اله دانيال لانه هو الاله الحي القيوم الى الابد وملكوته لن يزول وسلطانه الى المنتهى

so this the origin of that name “Al Hayy Al Qayoum” is pronounced in hebrew “Al Hayya Al Qayam” “חַיָּ֗א וְקַיָּם֙”

meaning the ever living ever enduring

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/chaiya_2417.htm

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/vekaiyam_7011.htm

“Qayoum” also mean the resurrected one

Middle east Christians calls Easter “Al Qiyamah” Feast

Now for God to take a name that represents a trait he must have been done that, if God called is called the creator the he must have created, if he is the merciful then he must have bestowed mercy, if he is Al Hay the living one then he is a life giver, and if he is Al Qayoum then to deserve this name he must have been resurrected before, he can resurrect himself!

So Al Qayoum does not apply to Allah of Islam it does not suite him to apples and suites to Jehovah Saves Jesus Christ!

In NT Jesus Christ said that he is Al Qayoum the resurrection

Jesus said in the New Testament that he is Al Hay Al Qayoum, we find that when Jesus resurrected Lazarus  from death after 4 days, Jesus Christ said in John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus is the resurrection and the Quran says Jesus resurrects the dead

we find that in Surah Al Omran 3:49-51

And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah . And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah .

Surah Ya-sin 36:78-79

And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"

Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."

So simply this ayah says that who resurrect the disintegrated dead is the one who created it to begin with, doesn't that apply to Jesus Christ who resurrect Lazarus after he have been disintegrated as he was dead for 4 days?????

To be Continued ...

Explaining who was ruling the universe during Jesus death on the cross

Explaining who was ruling the universe during Jesus death on the cross

Answering one of the Islamic famous but dumb questions

Who was ruling the universe during Jesus death on the cross

Do we really need to answer such dumb question??

We will answer in order to try to explain the basics of Christian faith following are the arguments

First: Jesus is both God and Man

Unbelievers can not understand the nature of Christ Jesus until they understand that in nature he is God but in the same time he is man, and that the bible teaches us he humbled himself to be a servant who obeys the father to accomplish the mission of the salvation for mankind, also in the process of his coming in flesh he emptied himself from the glory of divinity in all aspects including the matter of being all knowing.

And that is exactly what the scripture teaches in

Philippians 2:5–8

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Second: Jesus divinity did not die but humanity did

Who said that Jesus Christ the Son of God dies?

Divinity does not feel hunger, thirst, pain and can not die, it is merely Islamic stupidity. The human nature of Jesus or Jesus the man is who suffered natural death.

The Bible defines the human natural death in James 2:26

For as the body without the spirit is dead

So the human spirit continues to live after death meanwhile the body decays and this is exactly what happened to Jesus the man except the body did not decay but he resurrected himself with the body in it’s glorified form, even during his death his human spirit continued its unity with God

Third: Since Jesus continued to live after the human death he resurrected himself

You can simply say on Sunday Christ as God the Son united with the Father and holy spirit resurrected Jesus the man and this is according to Jesus words himself and following are two examples

John 2:19-21

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you raise it up in three days?

But he spoke of the temple of his body.

John 10:17-18

Therefore does my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

So he was alive during his human death and that is why he was able to resurrect himself

Forth: During his human death he entered the thief who died with him to paradise

You will find that in Luke 23:43 Jesus few minutes said to the repentant thief “Today you will be with me in Paradise”, so when they both died Jesus took him to heaven and that proves Jesus Christ the divine was alive during his human death

Finally during Jesus human death, the Triune true God The Father, Son and Holy spirit continued to rule the universe and on Sunday resurrected Jesus the human from death

Answering Jesus divinity is disproved because he said the Father is Greater

Jesus said in John 14:28

You have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

So being that the father is greater than Jesus disprove his divinity and to refuse that following are the arguments

Second: Yes God the divine father is greater than Jesus the man

So yes God the divine father is greater than Jesus being humbled himself into the nature of man for sure, but that does not mean from divinity prospective that the Father First member of the trinity is greater than the Son second member of the trinity, and that is very clear in Philippians 2:5–8 as it says that Jesus is “Equal with God” but in the same time he “took upon him the form of a servant”

And the bible says that the servant can not be greater than his master according to John 13:16

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

This really divine inspired book called the bible you will always find that scripture is explained by another scripture but read it with in fully in context and with good intentions, do not read the bible with hidden agenda

Third: Jesus says that he is omniscient and omnipotent

In the same chapter where Jesus said the father is greater than himself, he said that he is God as he says in John 14:14

If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Simply is saying he is able to listen to every believer and respond to the prayers of every believer, so simply he is saying that he is omniscient and omnipotent

Third: Jesus says that he is omnipresent

Again in the same chapter in John 14:20 Jesus said to talking to everyone who is following him

At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

So he is omnipresent in all the believers in him

Exposing Muslims misquote of Matthew 10:29 to make it look like Jesus promised 100 wife in heaven

Muslims have this meme that misquotes Matthew 19:29 to make it look like as if Jesus is promising his followers an award of 100 wife in heaven, but this is off course a deception, let us examine that false claim in Matthew 19:29

Matthew 19:29

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

Where here it says we get the 100 times award in eternal life?

The answer is no it did not, it says we get 100 times here on earth and then we also get eternal life

Also though Matthew summarized the awards by saying “a hundred times as much” without any further details, we find that Mark 10:30 explained those awards in details as following

Mark 10:29-30

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

But he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

So we see two aspects

First: if you left a wife according to Mark 10:29, the 100 times awards in Mark 10:30 intentionally phased out wifes

Second:  Mark 10:30 clearly specifics that those awards are not in after life, we will receive here in this world not in eternal life

So why are muslims is doing that fabrication? The answer is in the following link:
