Of His Presence
“…Be sure of this—that I am with you always, even to the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20 TLB).
The Lord Jesus, through the statement above, assures us of His everlasting presence with us. Thus, it makes no difference where you find yourself, who or what may come out against you; be sure of one thing; your victory is guaranteed because the Lord is with you. This has nothing to do with whether or not you “feel” that He’s with you; feeling is not faith. By faith you know He’s with you and in you because the Word says so. Your consciousness of the presence of God in you and with you will go a long way in determining the quality of life you’ll live.
When you’re conscious of the Lord’s indwelling and abiding presence, it stirs faith, courage, and boldness in your spirit. That consciousness will give you the giant-killer mentality; because you know that greater is He that’s in you, than he that’s in the world. Like the Prophet Elisha, you’re fearless and unperturbed by the number or size of your adversaries; because you’ve come to know that ‘they that be with you, are more than they that be with them’ (2 Kings 6:16).
Live every day with the consciousness of God’s presence; whether you’re alone or in the company of others. Completely eradicate from your vocabulary such statements as “I’m so lonely and alone in this world; there’s nobody to help me.” Rather, boldly say, “The Lord is my strength, comfort and refuge; He’s in me and with me always!”
Refuse fear, worries, stress and doubt; take advantage of the Lord’s presence in you and with you! He’s there to lead, guide, protect and strengthen you; therefore be bold, strong, and courageous!
Dear Father, I rejoice and lift my hands to you in worship for your love, grace, kindness and presence in my life! Thank you for your glory that’s revealed in me today, as I live conscious of your power and presence, and impact my world with your glory, grace and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
